Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉.

  2. Open the cans of biscuit dough, and separate the biscuits. Use a knife to cut each biscuit into four equal quarters.

  3. Using your hands, gently stretch each quarter into a two-inch round disc. In the center of the disc, spoon a small amount of marinara sauce and place 1-2 slices of pepperoni and top with one large pinch of cheese.

  4. Pull the sides of the disc up and pinch closed at the top. Roll in hands to form a ball. Place the dough ball into a greased bundt pan.

  5. Repeat with remaining quarters, stacking the dough balls on top of one another in the pan.

  6. Lightly grease the top layer of dough balls with olive oil. Bake the filled bundt pan in the oven for 40-50 minutes. The tops should start turning golden brown. To be sure that the monkey bread is fully cooked and not doughy in the center, use a thermometer to verify that the middle has reached 190°F. If the top is getting overly cooked, cover with aluminum foil to prevent burning.

  7. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then invert the bundt onto a plate and gently remove.

  8. Cool for 10 minutes more before serving with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
