Hello!

I had been working in investment banking for 8+ years by the time my son was born in 2021. While I was on maternity leave, I realized that I was no longer passionate about my job and wanted to focus on raising my baby instead. The Covid-19 pandemic was still in full-swing, and my husband and I were just not comfortable putting our infant in daycare. We decided it made the most sense for us that I leave my job at the end of 2021 to become a stay-at-home mom, and I did just that.

 

While I love being a mom, I really wanted to do something that was just for me, and one day, my husband asked me, "If you could do anything in the world - what would it be?" I immediately said, "Baking". Coincidentally, we had just finished an 11-month kitchen renovation, and I was eager to get back to baking. That's when we realized we had the perfect set to film a YouTube baking show, and I officially transitioned from Banker to Baker®! I couldn't wait to start Happy Bake Day.

I have had so much fun filming both my old favorite recipes and challenging new ones, and I know my neighbors have appreciated their weekly delivery of freshly baked goods! I hope you enjoy watching our YouTube episodes as much as we've enjoyed filming them. They have truly been a labor of love.

This website will provide you with all the recipes that were used in each episode along with the YouTube video for you to follow along while you bake from home. We have also posted an image gallery of all the baked goods we've made... just don't get too much drool on your screen!
