Mini Cheese Stuffed Crescent Roll Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent roll dough

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 large egg

  • Italian-blend seasoning, for sprinkling

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375℉. Lightly grease a standard muffin pan.

  2. Unroll the crescent dough. Separate the dough into rectangles then cut each rectangle in half, creating four squares.

  3. Evenly divide the cheese and place in the center of each dough square. Pull the corner of the dough up and pinch together. Gently shape the filled dough into a ball and place each ball in one of the muffin cups. Seam-side should be down.

  4. Whisk the egg and brush the egg wash over the top of the dough. Sprinkle with seasoning.

  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the dough is puffed and deeply golden. Cool in the pan for 1-2 minutes. Enjoy while warm.
